Items numbered along with house number by country

Does each category need to be both in house number by country and within items numbered? For example, Category:149 (house number) in Spain is in Category:Items numbered 149 directly and in Category:149 (house number) by country which is also under items numbered. It seems duplicative and you end up with many excessive categories within Category:Items numbered 12. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 08:24, 9 October 2021 (UTC)

Yes, this should be changed. It is unnecessary to have all the categories in the main parent category, when they are already in subcategories. How can this be fixed? Ove Raul (talk) 00:04, 3 January 2023 (UTC)

Remove continent templates

Should the continent templates be removed and moved to the Category:House numbers by country by number subcategory for each one? It seems odd at the top level. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 05:45, 31 March 2022 (UTC)

"Requiring frequent diffusion" - often not

A template has been attached to put notice on every individual number "This is a main category requiring frequent diffusion and maybe maintenance. As many pictures and media files as possible should be moved into appropriate subcategories." This seems untrue, unnecessary, and distracting in the vast majority of number categories - for all numbers over a few hundred, one to 10 files seems common.
