@LERK: – See Category:Philippines photographs taken on 2016-08-04 and Category:Australia photographs taken on 2004-11-28 as examples. Senator2029 02:52, 18 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Senator2029: We can fix them by inserting the date parameters like as {{(some country's name) photographs taken on nabvox|YYYY|MM|DD}}. In these cases, {{Philippines photographs taken on nabvox|2016|08|04]}} and {{Australia photographs taken on nabvox|2004|11|28}}. Thank you. The same in all countries. @LERK: I think you should revert your last edit. The former version was ok to me. -- Geagea (talk) 11:51, 18 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Geagea: it is comfortable for me to introduce this template, because the each country's name by some languages(in my cases, Japanese and Korean languages) will be inserted automatically(sample in English: Australia photographs taken on March 18, 2020. / sample in Japanese: オーストラリアにて2020年3月18日に撮影された写真 / sample in Korean: 오스트레일리아에서 2020년 3월 18일에 촬영된 사진). It is very hard work to insert each country's name by them(in some country's template on former version, they were wrong because s/he doesn't understand and couldn't fix them). The outcome from your last change looks very bad. If I understand correctly I have to fix each one of the categories in Category:Photographs of Israel by date (1,340 categories) without even notify the community. If you have automatic way to fix it it's fine, otherwise I'm ok with the version before the change. -- Geagea (talk) 12:39, 18 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Bot for creating categories

[edit]

Is there a bot in place that already does or could create new categories for images sorted into categories that dono't already exist.
If not it would may be a good idea to add a counter after not existing categories so that it's easier to see when a category does not exist but images are sorted in them.

Maybe SteinsplitterBot could do it like he created today's category --D-Kuru (talk) 08:26, 28 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sorting in monthly photographs categories

[edit]

Is there a way to adjust the sorting in the monthly photographs categories? For example, as used in the United Kingdom structure, it shows up at Category:July 2015 United Kingdom photographs with each one as "United Kingdom" (or not sorted I can't tell). If possible, we should sort them with a space beforehand so it's under "_United Kingdom" and thus buses sort after the images by date. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 21:21, 14 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Somehow changes do not matter

[edit]

Hello, I have attempted to make it so that the dates in the future display a warning and categorise appropriately. However, my change seems to do absolutely nothing. I suspect it might be due to the fact that the template is broken apart into pieces and then those pieces are translated. What's the appropriate way to do something like this? ℺ Gone Postal ( ) 12:17, 9 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Broken at Georgia

[edit]

Used by Template:Georgia photographs taken on navbox, this appears as broken at Category:Georgia photographs taken on 2010-01-04 where it attempts to redirect to a non-existing category. Enhancing999 (talk) 07:48, 20 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Layout countrylist and hidden/photos only boxes

[edit]

Personally, I'd place the country list above those two boxes. Also, I'm not sure if we need the notice about hidden categories. How would be the target audience? Either somebody found it and it's visible to them, or they actively de-activated it and they should know they wont see it. Enhancing999 (talk) 12:51, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
