The Gambia

The Gambia is a special case because "the" is treated as actually part of the country name, vs. just being the article preceding the name. This is similar to the Bahamas, as both countries require slightly different manner than other countries which use an article ('the') before their name. Thus, the Bahamas and the Gambia do not have an art parameter, and 'the' is instead included in their cat parameter. Josh (talk) 13:14, 4 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
