This work, currently tagged {{PD-old}}, {{PD-old-70}}, {{PD-old-75}}, or {{PD-old-80}} and published after 1929, may not be in the public domain in the United States. US works published after 1929 may still be in copyright. Foreign works published after 1929 may have had their US copyright restored by the URAA, unless they were already out of copyright in the source country on the relevant URAA date (usually 1996). Unless a valid US PD tag is applied, the file will be deleted. Examples include: {{PD-US-expired}}: The work was first published before 1929. {{PD-US-no notice}}: The work is a US work published before 1978, and did not include a copyright notice. {{PD-US-not renewed}}: The work is a US work published 1929-1963 and its copyright registration was not renewed. {{PD-US-1978-89}}: The work is a US work published 1978-1989 without a copyright notice, and was not registered within five years. {{PD-1996}}: The work is a non-US work and was out of copyright in the source country on the URAA date.
