Template:Regions of France/doc

Note: This template is used on a lot of pages. In order not to put too much load on the servers, edits should be kept to a bare minimum. Please discuss proposed changes on the talk page first.

Afterwards, changes can initially be done at and tested with Template:Regions of France/sandbox.

Editing a template causes all pages that use the template to be re-rendered. If the template is used often, this can put a lot of load on the servers since it fills up the job queue.

Template parameters

Parameter	Description	Default	Status
`prefix`	prefix to use before the subdivision name in the generated link to the full target page name	empty	optional
`sep`	default separator to use after the prefix or before the suffix in the generated link to the full target page name	(space)	optional
`presep`	separator to use between the prefix and the subdivision name in the generated link to the full target page name	value of sep	optional
`sufsep`	separator to use between the subdivision name and the suffix in the generated link to the full target page name	value of sep	optional
`suffix`	suffix to use after the subdivision name in the generated link to the full target page name	empty	optional
`showcode`	set a non-empty value in order to display the subdivision code after the subdivision name	empty	optional
`all`	normally not used, this can be set temporarily to a non-empty value in order to display links to all possible subdivision names (including their known aliases), without checking for their existence	empty	optional
