English : Cyrano de Bergerac, a 1900 French short drama film based on Edmond Rostand's homonymous play. Directed by Clément Maurice and featuring Coquelin aîné in the title role, the film was shown at the 1900 Paris Universal Exposition. Hand colorized and synchronized to a wax cylinder recording, it is thought to be the first ever film made with both color and sound.

English : The Eisbach (German for "ice brook") is a small man-made river, 2 kilometres long, in Munich, Germany. It flows through the Englischer Garten and is a side arm of the Isar River. Just past a bridge near the Haus der Kunst art museum, the river forms a standing wave about 1 metre high which is a popular spot for river surfing.

While the building is modelled on the Old Town Hall of Toruń (today Poland), the tower is reminiscent of the cathedral tower of Notre-Dame de Laon (France). The town hall was built between 1861 and 1869 and rebuilt to the original plans between 1951 and 1956 after the severe damages during the Allied bombing in World War II.

English : The 1812 Constitution Bridge, commonly known as "La Pepa Bridge" is a cable-stayed bridge that spans the Bay of Cádiz connecting the city of Cádiz with the Iberian Peninsula, Andalusia, Spain. The bridge, constructed between 2008 and september 2015, is 34.3 metres (113 ft) wide to host 2 lanes in each direction and 3,092 metres (10,144 ft) long, the longest span being 540 metres (1,770 ft). It has the second highest height for maritime traffic in the world (69 metres (226 ft)) after the Verrazano–Narrows Bridge in New York, USA.

English : Urban climbing on the Southern (Pivdennyi) Bridge in Kiev, Ukraine. It is the highest cable-stayed bridge in Kiev, serving both the Syretsko-Pecherska metro line and automobile traffic. The bridge, constructed between 1983 and december 1990, is 41 metres (135 ft) wide and 1,256 metres (4,121 ft) long, being the longest span 270 metres (890 ft). The cables holding the spans on the bridge are supported by two ferroconcrete double-column structures 135 metres (443 ft) in height.

English : The Siegestor in Munich is a three-arched triumphal arch crowned with a statue of Bavaria with a lion-quadriga. The Siegestor is 21 meters high, 24 m wide, and 12 m deep. It is located between the Ludwig Maximilians University and the Ohmstraße, where the Ludwigstraße (south) ends and the Leopoldstraße (north) begins. It thus sits at the boundary between the two Munich districts of Maxvorstadt and Schwabing.

English : General view of Arg-e Bam, or, Bam Citadel, the largest adobe building in the world and an UNESCO world heritage site, located in Bam, Kerman Province, southeastern Iran. The origin of this enormous citadel on the Silk Road can be traced back to the Achaemenid Empire (6th-4th centuries BC) and even beyond. The citadel was destroyed by the devastating 2003 Bam earthquake that cost over 26,000 lives and is being reconstructed since then.

English : Hypogeum of the Amphitheatre of El Jem, an archeological site in the city of El Djem, Tunisia. At both sides of this tunnel are located the cells where the beasts for the games were kept. The amphitheatre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979, was built around 238 AD, when the modern Tunisia belonged to the Roman province of Africa. It is the third biggest amphiteatre and one of the best preserved Roman ruins in the world with capacity for 35,000 spectators within 148 metres (486 ft) and 122 metres (400 ft) long axes and unique in Africa.
