Usage

This template is used to display the upper classification of a taxon.

Mainly when this placement differs depending on the source.

It can be used for example inside a {{Taxoconflict}}

Note: if you want to edit this template, first try your modifications on {{Placement/sandbox}}.You can then test your edits in {{Placement/testcases}}.
When the new version is ready, you can move it to the main template.

Syntax

{{Placement | taxonRank1 | taxonName1 | taxonRank2 | taxonName2 ...}}

Parameters

• taxonRankX

the rank of the parent taxon X.

• "incertae sedis" and "?" are displayed "Incertae sedis"
• "none" is displayed none, meaning: without taxon for this rank (without subfamilia)

Sample (for genus Resinicium): familia

• taxonNameX

the name of the parent taxon X.

Sample (for genus Resinicium): Rickenellaceae
