PLEASE DO NOT USE CURRENTLY. Currently in beta test state. Only in use in a few selected categories.

This template is for using on time-categories for places / events, especially for cities. So, that an overview for the place / event of centuries and years is possible. Because of changing the millennium, century and millennium are fix. Otherwise you should need to be a millennium-category only for the 2000s and 2010s (at this time) with many red-links.

Examples

• See at Category:2009 in Quedlinburg (with “previous/next year arrows” shown since it is a category by year).
• Or see the following example for the "Frankfurt am Main 1990" decade category (without “previous/next year arrows” shown since it is not a category by year):

• title = Title of the infobox
• image = Name of an coat of arms / logo, without "File:" and without brackets
• m = Millenium
• c = Century / Jahrhundert
• d = Decade / Jahrzehnt
• y = Year / Jahr
• c-pre = Prefix of century category names / Präfix vor Kategorienamen von Jahrhunderten
• d-pre = Prefix of decade category names / Präfix vor Kategorienamen von Jahrzehnten
• y-suf = Suffix of year category names / Suffix hinter dem Jahr im Kategoriename

If you use it in a

• decade category use y = 0,
• century category use d and y = 0.

To-Do

• non-existing categories should not visible  Done
• Handling if no image is given / needed  Done
• Parameter image sollte einfach die komplette Bildeinbindung sein, würde ich sagen. Sonst hat man durch nur die Breitenbeschränkung ein Problem bei sehr schmalen Bildern. (Wobei die wohl keine Stadt hat...hmm)  Done (restricted size to 30x30px)
• adding arrows for next/before years/decades/centuries  Done
• (low prio) bei den Prä- und Suffixen sollte das Leerzeichen mit im Suffix drin sein und nicht fest im Code. Vielleicht wird in manchen Sprachen kein Leerzeichen zwischen Jahr in Suffix/Präfix verwendet. Aber: Man kann in einem Parameter kein führendes Leerzeichen reinpacken...

Hat sich wohl erledigt. Wohl keine leichte Möglichkeit da, um das mit dem Leerzeichen zu machen, außer, wenn man nur drei zusätzliche Parameter einführt, die angeben, dass kein Leerzeichen verwendet werden soll. Jene könnte man dann aber, falls sie gebraucht würden auch noch nachträglich einbauen. Beim Standardfall (mit Leerzeichen) wären sie dann halt einfach nicht gesetzt. beim Englischen scheint alles mit Leerzeichen zu sein.
