Talk:War memorial

Hello! True, the [[category:War memorials]] is badly organized, and full of gaps, but this is even worse, because these should be sub-categories, not galleries. The number of monuments listed is enormous, and without sub categories, this page will turn into something quite unwieldy. I agree. I propose we delete this gallery and create galleries by country, by war, and by country/war. This should work since some memorials aren't specific to just one country, and some memorials aren't specific to just one war. And some memorials are specific to both. In addition to moving these galleries over, we should revisit the War Memorials category and place images found there into more appropriate galleries.
