Problems
[edit]General problem: All "Image:x-TableImage.png" have incorrect colors for Lutetium and Lawrencium. The .svg file has incorrect metalloids
- Image:x-TableImage.png - too small or is not made equal to others (looks awful etc.)
- done
- Image:x,y.jpg - does not exist
- Image:Electron shell xxx yyyyyyy.png - does not exist

Colors in periodic table templates
[edit]The color for transitional metals in the legend does not match the color in the periodic table itself, it is the same color as the one for alkali metals. I don't want to try and fix this, because these colors seem to use templates that are used in many other places, and I don't want to screw things up. Nandhp 00:21, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
not complete
[edit]Not complete. where is the Copernicium?! --Baruchbay (talk) 17:25, 13 May 2010 (UTC)
- now done. --Alchemist-hp (talk) 18:46, 13 May 2010 (UTC)
Compact image representation
[edit]I am very happy that this wikitable form exists. I am distressed that no other form exists or that the way this is presented prevents other representations from being visible. A good image that could be used as a thumb, expandable on demand would be nice. Alternatively, when a user clicked on the image, the user might be taken to a page at the project that had a wikitable like this one. DCDuring (talk) 19:05, 9 July 2011 (UTC)
Flerovium: Fl or Fv?
[edit]What is the chemical symbol for flerovium: Fl or Fv? --84.61.149.75 12:16, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
- It is Fl. --84.61.149.75 19:01, 16 June 2012 (UTC)
enwiki categorizing differs
[edit]Since August 2013, English wiki uses a different categorisation for metallish-ness in most of its periodic tables. The non-metalloids are categorised as diatomic nonmetal and polyatomic nonmetal. Categories "other nonmetals" and "halogens" are not used any more. (Note: the group name halogens is still in use). Easy check: if the yellow is a full column (group 17), then it's old setup.
Diatomic nonmetal and polyatomic nonmetal still use a yellow and green legend color, but slightly different from the earlier ones. -DePiep (talk) 14:14, 5 April 2015 (UTC)
Lack of details in english versions
[edit]None of the English versions seem to have any details, or even the elements' full names, is it possible to get a better english one — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 2600:1002:B006:E0D6:9D67:8529:96EF:5A7E (talk) 02:15, 11 March 2021 (UTC)
