This year Kyrgyzstan will debut in the famous Wiki Loves Earth photo contest. This contest is dedicated to the natural heritage sites and runs worldwide: in 2024 54 countries will take part, and now Kyrgyzstan is one of them!

Basics

  • Take pictures of natural heritage sites in Kyrgyzstan and upload them to Wikimedia Commons.
  • Only the listed sites are accepted. The list of sites is provided by the organizers in three languages: Kyrgyz, Russian and English.
  • You should take photos yourself and release them under a free license like CC-BY-SA-4.0.
  • Photos can be taken at any time, but should be uploaded between May 10, 00:00 and June 20, 23:59 (UTC+6).
