English: Dickson Nurseries is a rose nursery in Newtownards, County Down, Northern Ireland (UK), founded by Alexander Dickson (1801 - ). Breeders include the brothers Hugh and George Dickson (1832 - 1914), George's sons Alexander II (1857 - 1949), leading the company between 1872 and 1930, and George II, Alexander III (1893 - October 15, 1975), Alexander Patrick (1926 - ) and finally Colin Dickson, leading the breeding program since 1977.
