Images of New Routemaster buses allocated to Arriva (through their operating subsidiaries, Arriva London North Ltd and Arriva London South Ltd), both trading simply as Arriva). Arriva (north) were the first to operate the type, using the batch of eight pre-production prototypes for trial service on route 38. Arriva didn't then receive production buses until May 2014 when the 38 (and N38) received a full allocation (Euro V plus some Euro VI prototypes), by which time various other routes/operators had received them in the rollout programme. Arriva (south) was chosen for their second route in December 2014 (Euro VI), followed by the 73 / N73 from Spring 2015 (north). The buses are based in three garages: Clapton (CT) (route 38), Stamford Hill (SF) (route 73) & Brixton (BN) (route 137). Ash Grove (AE) was used as the base for the pre-production buses, but these transferred to Clapton in September 2014.
