Das Monument General Hoche in Weißenthurm am Rhein ist eine Grab- und Denkmalanlage für den französischen General Louis Lazare Hoche. Er starb am 19. Sept. 1797 in Wetzlar (Hessen), als kommandierender General einer Armee des französischen Revolutionsheeres. Das Monument und das umgebende Gelände sind seit 1797 Eigentum der Französischen Republik.
English: Description
The Monument General Hoche at Weißenthurm on Rhine marks the tomb of French General Louis Lazare Hoche. He died at Wetzlar (Hesse) on 19th September 1797, while serving as a commanding general for an army during the French Revolution. The monument and surrounding ground have been property of the French government since 1797.

One of the four copper plate reliefs, made in the late 1920th. Original marble done by Louis Boizot 1800. This one on the westside shows Hoche's attack 1793 at Wissembourg (Alsatia) against the imperial-austrian lines.
