The Knochenhaueramtshaus is the butcher`s guild hall in Hildesheim, Germany. It is one of the most beautiful timber frame houses. Built in 1529, it was destroyed by British aerial bombing raids in 1945 during WWII. In 1989 it was reconstructed in detail. It is Hildesheim`s largest open air art gallery.
