Kangra painting

Kangra painting, school, itself taking off from an earlier Basohli school of painting, it flourished in mid-eighteenth century, in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, and soon spread across the Hill states in the coming century, to create the comprehensive Pahari (Hills) school of painting.
