The Junkers Ju 52 was a transport aircraft and bomber manufactured between 1932 and 1945 by Junkers. It saw both civilian and military service, with Lufthansa as an airliner and with the Luftwaffe as a troop and cargo transport. It was originally designed with a single engine but very soon modified to carry three engines, names were changed to Ju 52/1m and Ju 52/3m respectively.
