Help:Typing Greek polytonic characters

Wikimedia Commons hosts a lot of files that have titles and contents in Ancient Greek or middle Greek style (called Katharevousa), which uses special characters with diacritics. For maintenance of these files, like typing their names and other metadata for them, or making outlines for books, it may be needed to input these characters from the keyboard. This page will explain how to do it under Windows environment.
