Nice level of detail, down to dialects in some cases, but Swiss German is not a single language, and so should also be broken up. Kwamikagami (talk) 19:13, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
- Where "down to dialects in some cases" means within 200 km from Zeeland, File:IndoEuropeanTree.svg isn't biased like that. I see no reason to treat User:HP1740-B as more real than (s)h/its name suggests. Erik Warmelink (talk) 19:41, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
- Ignore him, I have no idea what he's talking about. To your question, yes you're right. Swiss German is (by and by) Alemannic, though perhaps the author sought to indicate 'Swiss Germans/Alemannic in Switzerland' special position within that group as it is extremely vibrant as opposed to moribund in many other areas.HP1740-B (talk) 22:55, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
- I am talking about you writing IndoEuropeanTreeA while linking to en:File:IndoEuropeanTreeB.svg (A vs. B) when en:File:IndoEuropeanTree.svg (A nor B) is the most recent version, so recent that it makes it clear why the line from "Old High German" to "CENTRAL GERMAN" isn't centered on your PNG.
- It's nice English uses "you" for both singular and plurar. This edit seems to admit that User:HP1740-B is User:77.169.3.175, who happens to share a tendency to write in ALL CAPS [1], [2], [3] with User:B. Franken [4]. Erik Warmelink (talk) 18:39, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
- Well not only that edit. I do so myself. I am 77.169.3.175, I forgot to log in. It also was me on the Polish Wikipedia, in the third edit I regrettably lost my temper. I'm not User:B. Franken though, to whom writing in caps isn't exclusive, as demonstrated by yourself. As for your comment on the map; please write in Dutch; I cannot understand one bit what you're trying to say in English.HP1740-B (talk) 15:39, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
- Indeed you are not User:HP1740-B, User:B. Franken or User:77.169.3.175, those are just your sock puppets. Erik Warmelink (talk) 19:49, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
- I'm done talking here. I came to Wikimedia Commons to correct files and upload new ones; not to be accused by a someone who apparently has no other arguments than made up delusions of sock puppetry. Have a nice life.HP1740-B (talk) 09:49, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
- Then don't lie about the source you used. Everyone can compare IndoEuropeanTree.svg (especially the one on en.wiki) and your IndoEuropeanTree.png. Your only edit is a sourceless attempt to ignore Franconian. Erik Warmelink (talk) 22:35, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
- Some user asked "Ignore Franconian?" Erik Warmelink (talk) 22:54, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
