Non-free graffiti

[edit]

That seems innapropriate. Indymedia's logos are explicitely CC-Non-Commercial. I was part of the working group that came up with those policies. Your welcome to use it. Commercial use needs to be allowed too, otherwise it would be non-free according to our licensing policy. It's also not clear if it can be modified or not. pandakekok9 09:30, 31 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is an Indymedia Logo.

Indymedia explicitetly disclaims copyrightt protections as free-for-use. I was part of the group that setup those decisions at Indymedia. In fact Indymedia was the originator of the very concept of "open publishing" and openly opposed copyright laws as a matter of policy and principle.

Evidence shown at bottom: https://web.archive.org/web/20140817004703/http://bristol.indymedia.org/archive/article/693593

I realise that disclaimer migh not seem sufficient, but this WAS a discussed and published upon topic. Sadly most of the indymedia websites have long sinced closed. 180.150.93.49 09:05, 31 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
