Description
English: Thelazia callipaeda infecting the eye of a dog in Basilicata region (southern Italy). This video shows Thelazia callipaeda nematodes floating in the eye of an infected dog in an endemic area of Italy. Conjunctivitis and lacrymation were the main symptoms observed. In the second part, numerous T. callipaeda specimens have been collected by an ocular swab.
