Description
Español: Vía de degradación de la xilosa I: La D-xilopiranosa se convierte en D-xilulosa por medio de la enzima xilosa isomerasa (XI), y subsecuentemente la xilulosa se fosforila por medio de la xilulosa kinasa (XK) para formar xilulosa-5-fosfato.
