Summary
[edit]DescriptionWilson Line State of Pennsylvania 1915.jpg |
English: 1915 postcard of the steamer "State of Pennsylvania" Other copies of this postcard exist online, but are either watermarked or have the postmark showing through. The ship grounded in Wilmington, Delaware in the 1970s (?), was later burned, then the hull sunk, and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in order to save it. It was then hauled away and scrapped but still remains on the NRHP. Go figure.
