Description
Polski: Na fotografii widoczna jest lewa strona "chusty tureckiej", nazywanej też "szpiglem". Wykonana była z cienkiej wełny. Chusta ma rozmiar ok. 1,5 x 3 m. Była prezentem ślubnym od matki chrzestnej Panny Młodej, elementem stroju ludowego na Górnym Śląsku. Stara chusta raz w roku jest wietrzona w ciemnym, przewiewnym miejscu.
Deutsch: Das Foto zeigt die linke Seite des "türkischen Schals", auch "Spiegel" genannt. Es bestand aus dünner Wolle. Der Schal ist etwa 1,5 x 3 m groß. Es war ein Hochzeitsgeschenk der Patin der Braut, einem Element der Tracht in Oberschlesien. Einmal im Jahr wird der alte Schal an einem dunklen, belüfteten Ort belüftet.
English: The photo shows the left side of the "Turkish scarf", also called the "szpigel". It was made of thin wool. The shawl is about 1.5 x 3 m in size. It was a wedding gift from the Godmother of the Bride, an element of folk costume in Upper Silesia. Once a year, the old shawl is ventilated in a dark, ventilated place.
