English: Sonic Dream Team may be an Apple Arcade exclusive, but it's also the best Sonic game in a good while. Why is that?
Because the developers (SEGA HARDlight) actually looked at what works in Sonic games, and just did that. It was that simple. This is one Sonic the Hedgehog game that hasn't thrown out the baby with the bathwater, and in so doing, not only is it an excellent culmination of everything that Sonic Team has been trying to do for several decades, it also makes those older games better as a result, because we can finally see where those ideas were pointing us. Really sorry for another video in this format, life is just way too busy at the moment for anything else. Here's hoping we can make more frequent videos in 2024, believe it or not these are actually a labour of love as we really enjoy making videos, and over the past few months it's been a matter of picking and choosing out battles to get any videos made at all as life gets unbelievably busy.
