Description
English: Westbound wiew of Florida State Road 44 approaching the Interstate 75 interchange in Wildwood, Florida, specifically at the northbound on-ramp. The local Gate Travel Plaza and Steak 'n' Shake on the northeast corner of the interchange(which even has a local "Citrus Outlet" operating from a tent in the parking lot) was having it's tall interstate highway sign taken down and replaced with a lower one. I talked to some of the employees about this and much to my surprise this order came from corporate headquearters, rather than community NIMBY-ist groups. The overhead sigs on the cables are for I-75, SR 44 and even Florida's Turnpike, but we're not looking in the direction of Florida's Turnpike here.
