Description
Deutsch: Bronzestatue «Wehrbereitschaft» von de:Hans Brandenberger aus der de:Landi 1939. 1941 zur 650-Jahr-Feier der Schweizerischen Eidgenossenschaft im Park des Bundesarchivs in Schwyz (Schweiz) aufgestellt.
English: The bronze statue by Hans Brandenberger allegorizes readiness for defense. Originally shown at the Landi 1939 national exhibition, the statue was moved to the grounds of the Bundesbriefarchiv (Schwyz, Switzerland) in 1941 to mark the 650-year jubilee of the Swiss confederacy.
