Summary
[edit]DescriptionWalbury Camp aerial.webm |
English: Walbury Hill Fort (Walbury Camp), constructed around 600BC across the strategic trading trail, first established 2500 years earlier. Initially looking west, the trail descends through the western ramparts, then rises to Coombe Gibbet, erected on top of a long barrow, possibly dating back to 3000 BC. As the drone rotates south, you can see the extent of the ramparts, the the eastern entry of the trail. |
