История в большей степени, любая история в любом государстве замешана на пропаганде. Будем реалистами, преподавание истории везде – от Исландии, Ирландии и заканчивая США, где это возведено в абсолют – является продуктом сильно пропагандистским, потому что целью преподавания истории помимо всего прочего, там, дать представление о том, чем занимались ваши предки, всегда является воспитание гордости за страну, в каком-то смысле воспитание чувства превосходства, воспитание уважения к своим корням. Этого не отнять. Это надо понимать. История – это политика, опрокинутая в прошлое. Никуда от этого не деться. Опять же, это не говорит ни о какой цензуре, ни о том, что не нужно заниматься наукой, не нужно выяснять историческую правду. Но это так.
