Summary
[edit]DescriptionView north from Loups's Hill - geograph.org.uk - 1593598.jpg |
English: View north from Loups's Hill. This photograph shows a part of Tinklers Quarry (bottom right-hand side of the picture) and, above this, the southern-most end of Lathe Haw. Within the gully that lies just above the boundary wall (notice the MOD signage - see here 1593449), How Beck runs down-hill in a north-easterly direction to join the River Balder. As an 'added bonus', this picture also shows the eastern end of Hury Reservoir and (on the horizon) the hills to the north of Middleton-in-Teesdale. |
