English: Vallikummi is a folk dance and ritual performed in the Kongu Belt of Tamilnadu, a state in India. In praise of the deities, the folklore is practiced and performed during every festival in the region of Kongu Belt. The performers dance upto one hour following the same hook steps and which have a history of health benefits that this dance would maintain and promote the biological processes for well-being of both male and female.
