Description
English:  : Outer Castle, cellars and Pozsonyi út looking from the castle's wall on the campus of Faculty of Agricultural and Food Science of Széchenyi István University. - The history of the fortress (II. part) In the second half of the 15th century it was already the Counts of Szentgyörgy and Bazin tenute. They had it rebuilt. The present castle gate has originated with that time. You cen see the star formed crest shield of theirs on vaulting. Matthias of Hunyad the later king as the captive of King Ladislaus the V. was locked in supposedly here for some time in 1457. In the beginning of the 16th century th fortress got into th Queen's possesion. - Located in Magyaróvár neighborhood, Mosonmagyaróvár, Győr-Moson-Sopron County, Hungary.
