Description

Photocopy of typed unpublished manuscript with historical vignettes about US Naval Hospitals by W. Kenneth Patton. A Hospital Corpsman who was promoted to an officer during World War 2, and in the 1940s served as the editor of the Hospital Corps Quarterly, Patton was the BUMED Historian in the 1960s-1970s. Modifications and emendations were made by his successor BUMED Historian Jan Herman.
