Summary
[edit]DescriptionTyne and Wear Metro and National Rail track between Heworth and Pelaw.jpg |
English: The view through the rather grubby front window of Tyne and Wear Metro train 4089 on a Yellow line service towards Sunderland and South Hylton.
The two 1500 volts DC electrified tracks on the right are the Metro tracks while the un-electrified rails to the left are Network Rail metals. The change in ballast colour presumably denotes the boundary between the two companies. The approaching train is number 4082 on a Green line service to Newcastle Airport. |
