Tornérhjälm från 1776.

Description

Svenska: Av förgylld mässing. Gallervisir. Hjälmprydnad i form av sluten, kunglig krona, 8 byglar, vilka alla ursprungligen varit kantade med vita pärlor. Kronan kröns av glob med kors. Fäst vid kronan ett förgyllt lejon av papier maché, 245 mm h.
Hjälmkragen kantad med blå sammet. Plymhållare av mässing.
Hjälmen ändrad 1799 av Elis Sandberg inför Gustav IV Adolfs tornérspel på Drottningholm: " För Hans kongl. Majt. ändrad ett förgyllt mässinsharnesk / på Casquen en ny ringkrage och rännan till plymen samt satt fast kronan och borrad hel till ? fästande ett nytt kors, samt flyttad leijon..." (Betalte Räkningar vid Tornerspelen på Drottningholm Åren 1799 och 1800). LRK:s arkiv.
