| Description |
English: The River Wye foreshore. Most motorists speeding over it probably don't realise it, but the old "Severn" Bridge (now carrying the M48 motorway) actually crosses two rivers. This picture, taken from the western end of the bridge, shows the River Wye foreshore and its confluence with the Severn at Beachley Point. For anyone who wonders how I managed to stop to take the picture, the motorway shares the bridge with a cycle and footpath. |
