English: The Needle of The Cobbler (Ben Arthur) The best known of the "Arrochar Alps". Climbing the final outcrop is known as "threading the needle" and was once used as a test of manhood for prospective clan chiefs. It involves wriggling through gaps, blind holds, and a fall of around 150 feet if you get it wrong. |
