Description
English: This Order authorises the Merseyside Passenger Transport Executive (known as Merseytravel) to construct and operate a tram system between King’s Dock in the City of Liverpool and Kirkby in the Metropolitan Borough of Knowsley and, for that purpose, compulsorily or by agreement to acquire land and rights in land and to use land. It contains a number of protective provisions for the benefit of affected undertakings.
