Description
English: The restored Lion of Chaeronea in Boeotia, Greece. The monument was erected over the burial ground of the Sacred Band which fell in the fight against Philip II of Macedon at the Battle of Chaeronea in 338 B.C. The restored monument has a total height of 8,5 metres.
