English: The "Samuel J" at Donaghadee. The "Samuel J" is a former Arun class lifeboat "Sir William Arnold". She was built in 1973 and was on station at St Peter Port from 1973 to 1997. There are no Aruns left in service. Many have been sold abroad for further use as lifeboats - notably to Iceland and China. |
