English: Real-time visualisation of RhoF−/− platelets adhering to and spreading on a collagen related peptide coated surface, demonstrating filopodia and lamellipodia formation. Live cell differential interference contrast imaging was performed using multichamber plastic slides. Platelets were added to wells containing Tyrode’s-HEPES buffer at 37°C to a final concentration of 3×107 cells/ml. Images were collected at 1 frame/s for 20 minutes. These images were then compiled into video files using ImageJ. |
