Description
English: The image shows a bronze plaque(tamra-pat) dating back to 1060 CE (shaka 982) found at Diveagar in Konkan Region of Western Maharashtra. The plaque is written in Marathi

Its translation is as follows:

This tamrapat from the 11th century dated 10 Nov. 1060, Shaka 982. Vasudev Bhatt, Brahmin from Diveagar gave the records of the village() in the form of two tamrapats to Dhaval Bhatt in the presence of gram-sabha chaired by Hrushyapp Ghaisas, Shadanga Vid. He also gave 127 gold coins to a person named Damodar for the smooth functioning of the gram-sabha. These coins have been woven into a form of an amulet. The witnesses to this transaction were - Hrushiyatha Pauvandeva Shadanga Vid Tikai, Shadanga vih Jivanai, Nagarudra Bhatt Madhuvai, Shadanga vid madhuvaya deval from Diveagar.
