  • Significance: The Kvisvik-Martindale property is 9.25 acres located in the pastoral land historically settled by immigrants of Scandinavian ancestry. The poultry house was built in two phases in 1924 and 1927 respectively, measuring 200 feet long and 24 feet wide, and is the largest recorded poultry structure on Vashon Island. This documentation deals with the dynamics of the structure through time.
