Summary
[edit]DescriptionStamford and Essendine Railway was over there - geograph.org.uk - 607761.jpg |
English: Stamford and Essendine Railway was over there The line of overgrown hawthorn bushes that seem to end in the middile of the image mark the position where the 12.5miles Stamford and Essendine Railway operated since 1857 until the early 1960s. Apart from the odd bridge still standing and the line of old bushes there is little to see apart from a slight dip in the ground where the trackbed was. |
