Summary
[edit]DescriptionSt. Francis Day- Blessings of the Animals.webm |
English: Animal blessing began at 4 p.m. at St. Mark’s Church on Campus on Oct. 1, 2017. Feast of St. Francis of Assisi is on Oct. 4 every year and he is known for his love of all creatures, especially animals.
Many members of the church and community gathered with their dogs, cats, photos and even a basket of pet toys in the front courtyard of the church. Father Jerry Thompson blessed each animal for the upcoming year.
