Description
English: Showboat to Roundhay By 1957, only three large English cities retained trams: Liverpool, (where the last two routes would close that year), Leeds and Sheffield. Here in Leeds, 'Showboat' car 161 prepares to leave the Princes Avenue reserved track near Roundhay. The car is showing 9 on its blind, because it will return to the city via Moortown and then run on to Dewsbury Road on the south side.
