Description
English: The Shah of Iran saluting Winston Churchill on the occasion of Churchill's 69th birthday at the close of the Tripartite Conference of Tehran, November 1943. On the far left is Ali Soheili, serving his second term as Prime Minister of Iran. The picture was taken by the Iranian press. Churchill is shown wearing his honorary air commodore's uniform.
