Description
English: Scale ca. 1:425,000. LC Civil War Maps (2nd ed.), 498 Map extends from Ashby's Gap south to Winfield and Charlottesville east to Tappahannock and shows the location and date of engagements, towns, roads, railroads, county names and boundaries, drainage, and some relief by hachures. A few place names are underlined in red. Description derived from published bibliography. Available also through the Library of Congress web site as raster image. Some city names underlined in red. Washington D.C. borders and western bank of Potomac River highlighted in red.
