Description
עברית: תחנת הרכבת סמח' הייתה תחנת הרכבת של העיירה הערבית סמח' (سمخ) שהייתה בדרומה של הכנרת עד למלחמת העצמאות. התחנה היא שריד לרכבת העמק שהוקמה על ידי הסולטאן הטורקי עבדול חמיד השני במטרה לקשר את העיר דמשק עם חוף הים התיכון. שרידי התחנה מצויים כיום במרכז האזורי צמח מדרום לכביש 92 בקטע מ"צומת צמח" ל"צומת מעגן". המבנים משמשים נכון ליולי 2017: את המחלקה ללימודי ארץ ישראל במכללת כנרת, מכון כנרת לארכאולוגיה גלילית , מכון כנרת ע"ש דן שומרון והקתדרה לתולדות ארץ ישראל ע"ש בורנבלום
