Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Construction gates, including one with a "Road Closed" sign obstruct access to the bridge over Lake Marion from St. Paul Road (State Road S-14-230) , the former U.S. Route 15 and 301 overlap in Adam's Landing south of Summerton, South Carolina. These gates are intended to persuade drivers from using the bridge over Lake Marion, which was used by cars on this road until the overlap was relocated to the nearby Interstate 95 bridge over Lake Marion in 1987, and since then has been used for a pedestrian bridge, bikeway, and fishing pier. Since at least 2018 access for these purposes have been restricted as well due to a proposed demolition, or possibly even relocation of the bridge.
